Data sheet: Copper strips

At Bronmetal you will find a wide variety of alloys for copper strip with different mechanical characteristics relating to nominal thickness, HV hardness, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. The choice of each of these will depend on your needs.

On the other hand, to determine the electrical properties of all alloys, the material is subjected to what is known as the copper resistivity test at 20ºC in order to determine how easily the metal can conduct electric current under certain conditions. In the electrical properties section of the technical data sheet you can find details of each one of them depending on the material and metallurgical state.

The thickness tolerances of the different types of copper strip are divided according to whether they are intended for electrical or general purposes, whereby a distinction is made between hot-rolled and cold-rolled products.

Please contact us when you place your order so that we can meet your needs and adjust to your requirements as much as possible, we will be happy to help you!

Copper whose volume resistivity is of 0,017 24 Ω x m, at 20ºC, is defined as that corresponding to a conductivity of 100%.
NOTE 2 - 1 MS/m is equivalent to 1 m/(Ω x mm2).
