    DEFINITION: Aluminium conductors with steel core.

    MAIN APPLICATIONS: In medium, high and very high voltage overhead lines.

  • AAC, ALL ALUMINIUM CONDUCTORS aluminium cable
    DEFINITION: Aluminium conductors. Made up of several aluminium wires bundled into concentric layers.
    Very high conductivity/weight ratio.
    MAIN APPLICATIONS: Conductor in high voltage substations, conductor in overhead distribution lines, conductor (compact) for insulated cables.

  • AAAC, ALL ALUMINIUM ALLOY CONDUCTORS aluminium cable

    DEFINITION: Aluminium alloy conductors with steel core. Made up of several aluminium and aluminium-clad steel wires bundled into concentric layers.
    MAIN APPLICATIONS: Medium, high and very high voltage overhead lines, especially in corrosive environments.
    Greater resistance to corrosion than ACSR and AACSR.
    STANDARDS: ASTM B-549, UNE 21 018

    DEFINITION: Aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors. Made up of several aluminium and aluminium alloy wires bundled into concentric layers.

    Aluminium conductors supported by steel bundled into concentric layers.

  • OPGW, OPTICAL GROUND WIRE aluminium cable
    DEFINITION: Made up of an optical core of several fibres housed in an extruded aluminium tube into which one or more layers of aluminium-clad steel wires are bundled.
    STANDARDS: UNE-EN 61 232, IEC 60 794.
  • EARTH CABLE, ALUMINIUM-CLAD STEEL CONDUCTORS aluminium cable
    DEFINITION: Aluminium-clad steel wires.
    Made up of several aluminium clad steel wires bundled into concentric layers.
    MAIN APPLICATIONS: Earth cable in distribution lines, conductor in large crossings and rural electrification lines, fastening cable for guyed pylons.

OPGW

Optical Ground Wire
