At Bronmetal we supply high quality flexible flat bars (Cu-ETP) from the FLEXICOPPER range in line with the most relevant international standards.

FLEXICOPPER has been designed to guarantee dielectric insulation of the product despite the deformations and conditions of use of the bars, thanks to their extruded PVC protection (9mm to 50mm).

View the options in PVC thickness in mm, thickness of sheets, number of sheets and length.

Optional:

  • Tinned copper and aluminium.
  • Connections with flexible elements.
  • Halogen-free PVC insulation.
  • High temperature PVC insulation.

Fields of application:

FLEXICOPPER has been designed for electrical connections in distribution boards, panels and household appliances in the area of low voltage. For the purpose of connecting the generator, transformer, inverter and control panel.

Permissible current rating
The steady operating current shall be such that the temperature reached by the conductor shall not be greater than 90 °C or 105 °C (See values on table below).
Example : Flexible Element ES 24X1X8 CRN Room temperature Ta = 40°C Red copper conductor ΔT = 50°C Then Ta + ΔT = 90°C Select in the column 50°C rise the suitable current In this case the current is 700 A.
Note: According to L’UL recommendation, the current shall not be greater than 90°C for the red copper busbar and 105°C for tinned copper busbar
