CuNiSiCr

(round bar)

CuNiSiCr copper alloy is a copper-nickel-chromium alloy mainly used for corrosion resistance applications in marine environments. This alloy is commonly used in the manufacture of marine equipment such as tanks, pipes, valves, etc. CuNiSiCr offers exceptional salt corrosion resistance and high temperature fatigue strength. The alloy also exhibits superior mechanical and electrical strength. In addition, it is considered an economical material for these applications compared to other materials such as stainless steel.

Applications
  1. CuNiSiCr copper alloy is commonly used in the production of electrical and electronic components and equipment. This includes switches, relays, transformers, motor armatures and control coils.
  2. This alloy is often used for the manufacture of brushes in electric motors, due to its resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
  3. In the metallurgical industry, this alloy is used to make copper casting ingots, as well as precision tools and extrusion mechanisms.
  4. CuNiSiCr copper alloy is also used in the aerospace industry, as it is resistant to temperature, vibration and corrosion. It is used for the manufacture of engine components, structural parts and control elements.
  5. This alloy is used in the manufacture of boiler tubes, which are used in the production of steam for industrial use. These tubes are made from corrosion-resistant materials such as CuNiSiCr copper alloy.
