CuBe2

(round strip bar)

CuBe2 copper alloy is a copper-beryllium alloy commonly known as copper-beryllium or copper-beryllium alloy 2. This alloy is formed by a combination of copper and beryllium in a 2:1 ratio. CuBe2 copper alloy is mainly used in the aerospace industry as a coating for air contact parts to provide wear, oxygen, corrosion and high temperature resistance. It is also used in the manufacture of various mechanical components, such as bolts, nuts, screws and shafts. This alloy is considered a high strength material and is used in applications where a high degree of wear and corrosion resistance is required.

Applications
  1. Electrical conductors: due to its high electrical conductivity, copper is widely used to manufacture electrical conductors and cables. CuBe2 copper alloy is commonly used to manufacture conductors with high resistance compared to pure copper conductors.
  2. Mechanical components: CuBe2 copper alloy is commonly used to manufacture mechanical components such as sprockets, gears and pulleys. These parts are corrosion resistant, have good fatigue resistance and mechanical strength.
  3. Aircraft components: CuBe2 copper alloy is used in the manufacture of aircraft components. This includes structural parts, such as exhaust pipes, aircraft skins, support structures and ailerons. These components are corrosion resistant, have good fatigue resistance and mechanical strength.
  4. Petroleum industry components: CuBe2 copper alloy is used to manufacture petroleum industry components such as pipes and valves. These parts are used for the transportation and storage of oil and natural gas. These parts are corrosion resistant, have good fatigue resistance and mechanical strength.
  5. Chemical industry components: CuBe2 copper alloy is used to manufacture chemical industry components, such as vessels and processing equipment. These parts are used for the storage and processing of chemicals. These parts are corrosion resistant, have good fatigue resistance and mechanical strength.
